In November last year, a pool mansion in Sydney’s suburb of Vaucluse was hired, residency-owners were reassured, bars were stocked, invites were dispatched and tongues slithered in anticipation for the annualStab x VonZipper party.
“A thunderstorm started sometime around four and the sub-VIPs clamoured for entry into the house. Excellent security kept the proletariat under heel and underneath a pool cover that was utilised for shelter. Even in the misery, their fun couldn’t be squelched. Heads were dizzy with excitement! Girls fainted! What beautiful bastards!” – Derek Rielly
During the party, guests were not allowed inside the house, only on the outside decks and tennis court. As far as they were concerned, there was nothing of interest inside the house – only family photos and cooking utensils. Little did they know that there was, in fact, a photographer named Mike Piscitelli, a film-maker named Riley Blakeway and a trio of swimwear models turning the usually-modest family home into a voyeuristic and sexy photography studio.
The photos by Mike (two of which you see above and below), were amazing and good and printed in Stab issue #48. The footage that was captured by Riley, was masterfully-cut into a short and exciting clip. Watch it below. Enjoy.
