“This Kid Is Hilarious”

At Stab we get a lot of video submissions, especially from well-surfing groms. 

The best we post, the others we encourage to sit deeper, push harder. But rarely do we receive grom video submissions whose premise is tied to comedy rather than ability. 

But today, from ex-Stab staffer Dooma, we received a link to the video above with the simple but effective message: “This kid is hilarious.”

“This kid”, as it were, is in reference to Maui’s Noah Hill, a red-headed goofy foot with a penchant for shin-busting punts.

And while his aerial abilities are indeed noteworthy, it’s the quirkiness and genuine nature of Noah’s edit that drew us in. It all seems very… him, despite the fact none of us have met the kid. Organic – is maybe the best word.

Noah’s not afraid to show his true colors, isn’t trying to be someone he’s not. Which makes the whole thing a lot more fun in our opinion.
