This Is Not A Hi-Fi Surf Clip

Water III is Morgan Maassen’s latest film. 

Before watching, we recommend you take a breath, do some yoga and then bathe yourself in the texture, color, and cinematic prowess of this submarine masterpiece.

The film is not another hi-fi surf clip. It’s more of a cinematic opera, the result of an incredibly talented filmmaker’s affinity for Mother O. But don’t fret, Johnny Bangs-the-lip —  there are a few Teahupoo caverns inside bound to blow minds. 

So take a six-minute reprieve from whatever TikTok rabbit hole you’re in to indulge in a sublime cinematic experience. 

And for all you tech geeks out there, Morgan filmed this on a Red Weapon, using a Nikon 14mm F/2.8 and 35mm f/1.4 lens in a SPL water housing.
