The Smoothest Snap Stall You Ever Did See

Burch, The Tudors and more of San Diego’s finest in Log Rap’s ‘Made You Look’.

Words by Zack Raffin

Log Rap’s Ryan Cannon consistently drops clips of the best longboarders in the world.

With a historic run of swell in the water and the greater San Diego area’s foremost spots in the well overhead range, many of Ryan’s favorite ‘logger’ subjects have been flexing on well, everyone. Tosh Tudor specifically has put the world on notice, navigating some of the deepest and most critical barrels up and down the coast and leading his own Dad has come clean, claiming that young Tosh has surpassed the tube riding ability he himself had at his age.

In other words, don’t put loggers in a box, especially if their last name is Tudor…

So-Cal’s highly lauded mold breaker Ryan Burch is featured above as well. It’s typical that Burch picks off some of the best waves at Blacks on any given swell, what is not typical is the snap stall he executes at 3:13. In a single maneuver Burch throws us back to 2015’s Psychic Migrations where we watched him lay waste to a left hand point in a way truly inspiring fashion. It’s a move so fluid that no mere photo could capture it’s true essence.

‘Made You Look’ is titled and scored to the Nas song of the same name. Click above to watch as this is guaranteed to put your weekend on the right track.
