Tanner Gudauskas Is A Craigslist Addict Just Like You
Like you don’t spend hours a week looking at used surfboards…
If you’re like most of us surf-addled minds, you might find yourself on quiet evenings being sucked into Craigslist’s consumer cyber vortex.
Part bargain hunting, part obsessive collecting, typing in “Surfboard” into the simple, text-heavy, white and purple website’s Search bar can result in literal hours disappearing in front of your face, scrolling through galleries, digitally combing through a seemingly endless feed of aging crap, ancient equipment, and the occasional rare gem.
Yesterday, Tanner Gudang hit us about the first in a new series of videos he’s doing—don’t call them Vlogs, fuckers—wherein he sets out from his Southern California home hunting new-to-him whips of Craigslist, which we have to say is just an incredibly smart, relatable concept.
This episode finds Tanner scoring an obscure Channel Islands model from the archive, the Sashimi, and seeing if what the guy he bought it off said was true: that it’s the fastest surfboard he’s ever stood on. Click in and enjoy the hunt!
