Seven And A Half Minutes Of Juliette Lacome Swooping On Mexican Points
Come on in, and watch your envy flourish.
Obsidian was discovered in Oaxaca, sparking a clash over profit and indigenous land. Baja’s deep-space cameras snapped high-res images of galaxies, possibly revealing a new solar system. In Teotihuacan, a turtle shell carved with potential ancient script could rewrite Mesoamerican history. Sayulita got gentrified.
Juliette Lacome spent two weeks in Barra de la Cruz, scored rage-inducing waves for anyone chained to a desk, and turned it all into a seven-and-a-half-minute edit called Tangolunda.
All in a year’s work for Mexico.
During her stay, Juliette met the mariachis of Huatulco. She listened, they played, and before long, they agreed to score the edit. A nice nod to the local scene. Watch above.
