Who would’ve thought that trimming down from three fins in the sled’s kicker to a singular rudder could have such an awesome effect on someone’s surfing? In Rusty’s new video, The Single Life, focused around the team going bonkers in Bali on single-fin sleds, Josh Kerr especially, seems forced into a more focused approach by the lack of the single fins’ manoeuvrability, less twitchy, but still with the tools to go very, very big. The music’s cool, too – Les Rallizes Denudes’ tune, Night of the Assassins, is the original from which Dirty Beaches acquired his sample for A Hundred Highways (currently on high-rotation in the Stab office.)
