A man called Robots From Outerspace, also known as Kevin Jansen, has been putting together his full length film, “Please Have Fun.” The film will be out in a couple months, but the ethos behind it, is, well, the f-word. He’s spent the past year or so filming, racking up hours of footage. As not all could make it into the film, during Southern California’s recent week of rain, Kevin sat down and starting putting together the unused footage. Here’s episode one – a collection of B-Sides.

“This series started from me organizing hard drives after finishing my first full length went into post production,” Mr. Jansen tells Stab. “I realized how many sessions I had with friends that I hadn’t used or had forgotten about and they made me nostalgic.

“During the rainstorm, I started editing and came up with three episodes right away that are made up mostly of clips I had and I’ve since started shooting specifically for this series. Right now, I have six episodes that I’m working on. I don’t have a definitive number on how many I want to do cause I’m afraid of commitment.

“The term ‘episodes’ is used loosely. I just couldn’t think of a cool name. But the goal is to just work with my friends and invent excuses to hang out at the beach all day.”
