Not Your Typical Father-Son Outing

It doesn’t get much better than this. This week’s Ho and Pringle clip opens with Mason giving Michael Ho a call. He doesn’t answer. Why?

Well, the 63-year-old was already in the water, snagging the wave of the day (discounting John John’s, because he’s John John). He even taunts the kids by throwing his hands behind his back like a real head honcho.

We also learned that a little extra board goes a long way, and Mason’s excess foam might be part of the reason he caught 100+ waves in a single session.

Given the sheer size of the swell, a handful of those boards were snapped in half. For a good cause, though, the kid at 2:34 will cherish Mason’s shrapnel for the rest of his life.
