Nick Rozsa in Nicaragua
Nick Rozsa is definitely back. But you already knew that when he dropped his last clip Fun, just a few months back. What you didn’t know, was that the vivacious Venturan and his talented glassman Chris Papaleo, recently endeavored on a brief but intense snatch-and-grab mission to the Republic of Nicaragua, the fruits of which you’ll see exclusively, above. Watch Nick as he quietly wreaks havoc on some unsuspecting Nicaraguan walls and slides through some seriously dredgy pipes off the Central American isthmus. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the productive duo, as filmer Chris Papaleo concedes. “Nick was surfing on his own and we were getting some funny looks from a lot of the local fisherman,” says Chris. “We don’t speak a word of Spanish but we quickly discovered why. One morning Nick was surfing on his own and saw a little fish getting chased by a medium-sized fish, and then noticed that the medium-sized fish was getting chased by a larger fish – a bull shark. After a three-hour hike through the mountains he was kinda bummed to come in because he’d only been out for 30 minutes. But he just waited an hour and he paddled back out.” More brill like this over at Salty Beards. Nick Rozsa stuffed way back. Photo by Chris Papaleo.
