Mick Returns To ‘The Snake’ With Tyler Wright!

Ahhh the old Snake. A right-hander that gave Namibia a run for it’s best tube title and and a spot that reinstated people’s beliefs in #TheSearch being a worthwhile pursuit. 

You may have thought you’d never see The Snake again, resigning yourself to Google Earth scouring, and begging Michael Ciaramella to tell you where he (thinks) it is. 

Fortunately, Rip Curl were kind enough to give us another dosage. Mick Fanning already scored it as good as seemingly imaginable, and this time around brought Tyler Wright along for a crack. Initially the trip was planned as training for the upcoming comp at Kelly’s pool, but since Tyler’s withdrawn (her third consecutive, more on that soon), the trip was now just an excuse to get absurdly piped.

The training may have gone to waste, but it’s not likely anyone would ever complain about uncrowded, sand-bottomed and dare I say, ‘perfect’ barrels.
