More Of The Vinny Siblings In Sri Lanka

“Fuck, Vinny surfs fucking sick in this”.

If you’re wondering who that quote’s from, it’s from me a couple hours ago watching this final episode. 

Jake Vincent has his own approach to everything: surfing Lanka points, screaming vocals in a knee brace with his band Cloacas, and strumming some shocking chords on stage. His surfing is a welcomed slap to the face in this world of seemingly endless surf clips, and this above edit is no exception. 

Where a snap is pre-empted, a carving-three exists, when you’re expecting a head-dip, a chop-hop appears. The lines Vinny draws on a wave resemble a skate line more than anything else, and we’re all the more thankful for it. 

This Lives ep is the final in Misfit’s Sri Lankan series and it’s a blend of everything we’ve seen throughout the series: a little surfing, some exploring, some local affairs, and some questionable tunes.
