Miguel Tudela: The two-to-twenty guy

Miguel Tudela is a Peruvian national, 20 years old and a two-to-twenty guy. He’s got wild variety, as comfortable in rotation as he is on a long decent. It’s easy to find gents who can spring in waist-high conditions and scratch through a six foot tube in time for the spit. But they often miss the drum kick when it comes to performing in double, triple overhead.

See, Miguel grew up near Pico Alto, the WSL Big Wave tour stop in Peru, and at 12 years old would flag Mum’s rules and surf the break anyway. But, what makes him different to others with multiple lengths in their knife collections, like, say, Albee Layer, is Miguel’s got fire for the jersey. He want’s tour life.
