Based on the relatable, blue-sky candor of his email, I reckon filmmaker Ian Tavares knows what I’m talking about: 

“Me and Mateus just came up with a new little clip of a couple of surfs at lowers on his youtube channel. To try and make it less boring, I put it together in the form of an 8 bit video game concept. I mean, his surfing is obviously the opposite of boring, but we know how a Trestles edit can sound.” 

You da dawg, Ian. Good on you for trying to make a Trestles edit a little less boring.
