Kobi Clements feels like he’s been around forever, but he’s only just turned 16.

It’s hard to resonate with sun-bleached sticker groms riding paddle pop sticks, but every step they take towards adulthood makes their intrigue grow. Kobi Clements is the spawn of noughties pro Steve Clements, so you can be assured on his surfing stock, and now he’s ready to take his place in the Australian surfing hierarchy. After seeing multiple images of young Kobi skillfully negotiating his way through tubes of consequence (and realising that despite his name being on our lips for years, we didn’t actually know that much about him) we sat down with Kobi for This is Your Life, Stab style.
