Current World #1 Tackles The Brazilian Pipeline

WSL stop number four is set to begin anytime now on the shores of Saquarema, Brazil. Leading the Men’s CT is Brazilian goofy foot Italo Ferreira, who throughout the first three events has demonstrated an inimitable backhand attack, which he earned while growing up at the famous righthand point of Baia Formosa. 

The Brazil event will offer Italo the chance to loose his forehand approach, which as evidenced in the video above features incredible tuberiding and aerial abilities, on top of a gouging wrap in the pocket. Beyond Filipe Toledo, Italo must be considered the favorite going into this competition – he’s got incredible boards, an impenetrable headspace, and all the momentum in the world. 

A win here will propel Italo to a legitimate World Title run, which we can’t imagine anyone would be opposed to.
