Ian Crane, Dylan Goodale and Chase Wilson Are Wingless Byrds In Japan

Back in 2012, Chase Wilson started Byrd Hairdo Products. He gave up competitive surfing and dove into of entrepreneurial pursuits. In the past four years, the company’s gained serious traction and is especially big in Japan. From their suggestive Soap on a Rope ad to stacking the team with good pals (who surf very well), artists and musicians who fit the laid, back and slick mold of the company, they’ve done an excellent job branding themselves in and out of the niche of surf. Here, Dylan, Ian, Chase, Dewey Wilson and a few other gents enjoy the low hanging fruits of Tokyo. Then, shake off their hangovers with the playful waves of Shonan.
