How’s JJF Lookin’ Pre-Portugal?
Pre good, wby? x
Italo has won Portugal twice in a row. Currently, however, he’s ranked 16th. Italo tends to come into Portugal on the back of a heater. The last year he won, he was yellow-clad, the year before that, he was ranked #3. Italo, Brazilian, is not used to it being this cold in February.
The Portugal event used to run in the European fall, now it’ll be run in late winter. This, to facilitate wrapping the CT by September, and to suit Supertubos, which, slightly swell sheltered, prefers a busier Atlantic. This means it’ll be extra cold for our Olympic gold medallist. Ice cold.
And how about ol’ JJF? Also a former winner, 2016, and a person, who, historically, has done pre-good before in Portugal. Quarter-finals or better 4/7 times. He even got news he won his first title (16′) in Portugal. Great omen. Here, John squeezes in a session pre-man-on-man-on-man.
How’s he look?
Pre good.
