How Long Until Bronson Meydi Is On The CT?

Five years ago, we called Bronson Meydi a ‘supertalent.’

He was 16-years old at the time.

“At 16-years old, Bronson’s surfing has developed to an almost unfathomable level,” wrote Mikey C “Airs are still his strong suit, but he’s also gotten much more comfortable in the tube. And the second he loses that teenage lank, Bronson’s turns will follow.”

Now 21, Bronson’s teenage lank is gone, the trophies are beginning to stack up, and his potential is becoming increasingly fulfilled.

Early in 2025, he won the World Junior Champs in the Phillipines — after winning all but one comp on the junior circuit. He then surfed his first CT contest in Abu Dhabi, won his first major QS event in Siargao, and now sits just 13 rankings below the CT qualfication cutoff with two Challenger events to go.

Oh, and he’s spearheaded a bona-fide YouTube channel and dropped some remarkable footage in Snapt5.
