Here’s why Laurie Towner deserves sponsor dollar$
It’s 2014 and surf companies are pinched. Which unfortunately means that, somehow, gents as talented as Laurie Towner can lose a main sponsorship contract. Them’s the breaks. A little while back Loz and pal Wade Goodall parted ways with their long time sponsor, Billabong. Being faced with this change on the other side of 25 is not ideal, but, they say that every problem is an opportunity in disguise. Hopefully Laurie’s vibe is more on that optimism tip. However he’s travelling, it’s hard to imagine him staying sponsorless for long after watching this video. With men like Andy Irons, Manoa Drollet and Joel Parkinson whistling his v kind praises, and given the surfing you’ll see above… well, surely it ain’t if, but when.
