By no means is this getting the adrenaline pumping (though, it will increase the heart-rate thanks to the workout). But, what you’ll watch above is a comprehensive video of what’s officially, as of right now, the largest and most rippable artificial wave in the world. And it’s in the UK. Surf Snowdonia is in Wales and, can you believe it, allows for multiple, quickly-paced turns on a wave. It isn’t Hawaii, it isn’t Indo, nor is it anywhere else with the power of the ocean, but after so much talk and speculation, it sure is nice to know that a legitimately surfable man-made wave finally exists (and doesn’t require the best surfers in the world to milk turns out of it). Shit, most people would drive two hours on the weekend to surf waves worse than this.
