Gabriel Medina Gifts Wave To Little Sister, She Gets Extremely Tubed!

Every “tough guy” has a soft spot, and for Gabriel Medina that warm and fuzzy feeling comes from his little sister Sophia. 

While training for the Surf Ranch Pro, Gabriel Medina, who is known for catching his share of waves and then some, gifted his 13-year-old sister one of his finite warm-up waves, but not before giving her a few tips. 

“Try turns,” Gabriel told Sophia, “then on the last section when he says ‘get low’, you’ll squat and it’ll come. Just pump a bit so you can get in the barrel.”

And get in the barrel she did.

Sophia proceeded to take off on the wave, drag both hands in the wall and get remarkably slotted. After exiting the first section, Sophia slipped back in for another but got greedy and was clipped by the end section.

An exceptional effort for anyone’s first time in the pool, let a lone a 13-year-old.
