A Caribbean Entrée With Indo for Dessert

Warning: Gatien Delahaye’s recent run of waves will trigger your salivary glands.

I don’t know much about Gatien Delahaye. Also, I don’t think I’m pronouncing his name correctly. Nevertheless, I’m a quick learner. Here are some things I picked up during his latest edit Tropical Bloom:

2:11 – Gatien isn’t scared of airing to the flats. And if you can’t see him, don’t assume he fell.

2:54 – The Caribbean doesn’t always deliver perfectly groomed faces. Sometimes the barrel sections are a bit harder to read. Delahaye reads at a higher level than the rest of the class.

3:55 – Nothing goes to waste for this fella. Where most of us see a close-out, Gatien finds a section to gouge.

6:55 – Of course he can hold his own in the heavy stuff. Did you really think otherwise?

Hats off to the filmer, Simon Levalois-Bazer too. Those shots from the cemetery were next level. Click here to watch the full clip.
