Breaking News: Pete Devries Not The Only Surfer In Canada!

Surely we weren’t alone in thinking that Pete Devries, the 36-year-old poster-boy for Vancouver’s Patagonia-equivalent brand, was Canada’s sole surfer.

Not their soul surfer—he’s done way too many air reverses to hold that title—but their sole surfer. 

Lo and behold, this morning, we were shocked to discover evidence of another waverider from the great maple nation, one Noah Cohen. 

Based on this leaked footage, we’ve ascertained that Noah has been surfing for a minimum of 4-5 months, with quite a rapid progression in his abilities. Toward the end of the clip, we even see Noah break free from his protective cocoon and blossom like a Monarch beneath the scorching Mexican sun. 

At this rate, it would be reasonable to assume that North American surfing will go the way of the NHL—all left-handed and apologetic. 

The Canadians are coming.
