Big Wave Safety Day
Hosted by the legendary Brian Keaulana, Big Wave Safety Day in Memory of Sion Milosky is all about risk management. With the level at which big wave surfing now operates, and most especially with the limits that big wave paddle surfing has pushed in the last three years, it’s become more crucial for serious big wave surfers to have serious knowledge of what to do when things turn bad. Big Wave Safety Day was held at Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore last week, and judging by the crew present, will become a staple for the beginning of every season to come.
