Watch: Julian Wilson On Navigating Snapper Crowds
Julian sits in the Beach Chair to talk fans, crowds, edits, and more.
Welcome back to Beach Chair, Stab and Corona‘s guide to the most engaging peripheral moments of the World Tour. In this episode, we sit down with Mr Julian Wilson to discuss the difficulties of holding a world tour stop at one of our sport’s most crowded locations; whether there’s anything dangerous, or tactical, in releasing a video edit so close to an event; and far more. Jules is considered, analytical and, unsurprisingly, lights up immensely in the freesurfing clips we captured to compliment this discussion. While he fell on the rookie sword of Connor O’Leary in round three of the Quiksilver Pro, Mr Wilson will now head to Margaret River, where he placed second last year, with renewed vigour. Keep an eye on this man in 2017.
