Almost here: Oakley Pro, Keramas

Keramas is certainly in the top three most high-performance waves in the world. We’re now three weeks away from the event and we’re super vibing on what this new location on tour might bring. Oakley have been clever enough to lock down the contest window so that high tides fall mid-morning about a third of the way into the event (Keramas regulars will note that it loves the high tide) and they’ve been planning Canggu as a back-up wave on the other side of the island. “It’s like a skatepark,” says Josh Kerr. “It’s an aerial machine.” “It’s the perfect all-round wave,” says Joel Parkinson. This might even take Lower Trestles as the high-performance event of the year. The event starts June 18 here.
