Gone are the days of hiring out a chopper at a few of hundred bucks an hour, now all of your sky-bound footage comes courtesy of a tiny camera hooked up to a micro quasi-aircraft.
Now any old half-baked cinematographer can grab a drone and set it off for flight that afternoon. Some may argue that since the drone burst onto the market, aerial footage has lost its once illustrious spark. In some cases this is probably true, but when the locale of interest in Cape Solander, the drone blows a breath of fresh air into Sydney’s most notorious break.
