A 14-Year-Old Ladybird Takes On Solid Nias & Desert Point
Bela Nalu will go.
Bella Nalu was among the lineup of ladybirds in this year’s Vans Stab High, Central America, presented by Monster Energy, Costa Rica.
No stranger to the spotlight, Bela Nalu and her family have their own Brazilian travel TV show, Nalu Pelo Mundo, which first aired in 2009 and is currently on its 10th season.
However, Bella is not counting on her family’s TV show to elevate her profile as a surfer. She is a hungry competitor, who took out the Ripcurl Grom Search event in Fazenda de Grama just two weeks ago.
In this clip, Bella adds more stamps to her passport in Indonesia, surfing solid swells at Nias, Desert Point, and Uluwatu.
She charges, possesses a smooth rail game, and has clocked up more time traveling and surfing different waves than most surfers her age by a mile.
