360 virtual reality surfing is here!

This is pretty wild. And, quite hard to articulate, but here we go: It’s GoPro’s full 360 spherical experience of Teahupoo (see also: we live in the future). It might take a moment to load, because there’s some deep interactivity, but once you’ve hit play, click and drag across the screen to get a full 360 sphere as Anthony Walsh and Matahi Drollet get in the mix at Chopes. Sadly, 90 percent of us will have one go at it, perhaps make a mildly interested ‘hmm’ sound, then flick back to Facebook.
