Rumor: The WSL Has Chosen A New CEO
Former employee of Activision, Microsoft, Netflix, and Hulu to take surfing’s reins.
June 29th, 2023.
That’s the day that Erik Logan lost his job as WSL CEO, in the middle of the Saquarema CT event.
Since that day, the WSL has not had a CEO — not a permanent one, anyway. Holding the interim position have been Bob Kane and Emily Hofer, the league’s COO and HR head respectively. That’s 279 days and counting without a clear leader.
All of that is reportedly about to change. According to a source close to the WSL, the League is days away from announcing their new, singular, CEO.
