The Vans World Cup of Surfing – Round One

Hey, The Vans World Cup of Surfing ran its first day at Sunset today! Did you know? Event number two of the Vans Triple Crown’s three stops, the World Cup is an important but difficult (Sunset…) step towards the crown (and, this year, the Harley Davidson on offer). Dane Reynolds was knocked in his first heat. Tom Whitaker, Nathan Hedge, Pancho Sullivan and Chris Ward showed that Sunset favours familiarity. Power surfing is the name of the game. And it’ll be an excellent game to watch over the following days. Don’t look away!
