Sneak Peek: Our Next Major Film Project
Two surfers, twenty-one surfboards ranging from 9’2 to 4’10. Any guesses?
A bomb went off in our office.
Boards, coffins, leashes, GoPros, and more FCS fins than any human could consider necessary are strewn about in preparation for our next major film project.
Have any guesses? No?
Here are a few clues.
There are 21 boards involved, ranging from 9’2 to 4’10. Each board has its own unique color splash, and several of them were built without the help of a CNC machine.
Think… Think…
That’s right! We’ve embarked upon another edition of the Electric Acid Surfboard Test.
This time, we’re including two of your favorite surfers, rather than just one.
Any guesses? No?
A few more clues can’t hurt.
The surfers are siblings. They’re from Hawaii. And they are the proud disciples of a World Champion Uncle (RIP) and Triple Crown-winning father.
Now you’ve got it.
The heirs to the Ho Dynasty, Mason and Coco, are your new Electric Acid co-stars.
This afternoon, less than 24 hours before our departure to Mexico, Mason and Coco dropped by Stab HQ for the official board reveal. After profusely apologizing for the mess, we proceeded to hand the siblings their new 21 board quiver (10 for Mason, 10 for Coco, and a sharable log) and watched as brilliance ensued.
We won’t spoil the best moments here, but we will say this: if watching Mason and Coco ride these retro-modern crafts is half as entertaining as their reactions to receiving them, you’ll have a spectacular piece of cinema on our hands early this summer.
Keep an eye on our IG stories for real-time updates from Mexico.
And say a prayer for our intern who has been left to clean the shitstorm in our wake.
