PerfectSwell Unveils Voluptuous New Humps In South America

Double the brothers, double the air sections.

Potentially, you’ve already seen the clips.

Though it was originally rumored to have been somewhere in the mighty kingdom of Dubai, we’ve learned that PerfectSwell’s newest wavepool actually lies somewhere in the southeast of Brazil.

Yesterday, footage surfaced of the Pupos and the Geiselmans — two sets of aerially-advanced brothers — testing out the Waco creator’s new pool, and boy does it look revolutionary.

If you recall, PerfectSwell is the same company that created both Waco and the pool in Makinohara, Japan. The secret behind their tech are those nifty pneumatic cylinders, which are basically just super-pressurized jacuzzi jets, that allow for a more flexible approach in designing and creating new waves.  Given the same bathymetry, and some pneumatic experimentation, these PerfectSwell pools can tailor their waves to the feedback of pros and average joes alike.

The result? Well, the clip coming out of Brazil shows two makeable air sections on one wave, and Evan and Miguel called it the best pool they’ve surfed yet.

Also, allegedly, the only way you’ll be able to surf it is as a guest at the esteemed hotel located on the same property.

Full breakdown and clip coming soon.
