Pay With Pain: The Most Buck You’ll Get For Your Bang

Ozmosis thinks sacrificed skin is more than deserving of a 20% discount (and we think they’re just begging for a lawsuit)

Ozmosis Australia have a kinda outrageous campaign that might just be supporting dangerous antics, offering a cash-lined cushion to your @kookslams contender. The type Mr Ozzie Wright knows too well:

Ozmosis are offering a considerable discount for anyone (16 years old or above) with visceral, visible bodily damage. The competition rules are simple: One Instagram post, use #paywithpain, tag @ozmosisaustralia, accompanied with a shameless selfie of your gouge, graze, compound fracture, or laceration. A post will get you a 20% discount; the winning post receives $5k worth of gear.

Is this experiment worthy of participation? Probably. Some (hopefully previously) sacrificed skin, in return for a discount and a chance at some serious cash? Seems more than reasonable.

And for those of you abstaining from Social Media, here are your instructions: 1. Walk up to Ozmosis‘ counter. 2. Show them your blood and gore. 3. Receive discount. ** So simple, a child could perform.

This is (likely) your only chance to get something back from the skin you previously left on the reef.

**Stab does not recommend this competition for children (or, really, anyone who finds themselves currently in good health)
