Meet: A Philanthropic Grom!
Who also happens to surf exceptionally well.
The world has enough social media activists sharing, liking and tagging their way to a better world. But, we all could use a feel good story about a nine-year-old. So Winter, just short of a near-decade, noticed that some of his fav pro surfers had taken part in World Water Day.
Inspired he wrote a speech entitled, “Kids Can Make a Difference”. The concept: how easy it is to change the lives of others, no matter what your age. With that, the community took notice and lent massive support. He auctioned a few surfboards and held a successful fundraiser.
Feeling generous he got involved with Waves 4 Water donating clean water filters. And, the Mentawai islands are part of a region lacking in clean drinking water. So you know? Help a little, surf a little; good on Winter.
