In the past, air shows and Pipe contests might as well have been considered two separate sports. However, times have changed. People can do both these days. Plenty of people, in fact. And they’ll have to with this year’s re-imagined Pipe Masters format.
We’ve announced all but one of this year’s Pipe Masters invitees. The last slot will go to the winner of Vans Stab High, Indonesia.
The event brought together 36 of the world’s best air surfers for 8 days and some pressure-cooked heats.
The swell was non-stop. The surfing was next-level. Episode 1 will be published this Thursday, October 27 at 6 PM PST.
