Laura Enever, 21 years old and from Sydney’s North Narrabeen, has just signed on with Billabong. After Nike downsized their involvement in surfing in November, Laura was one of the marquee riders shifted over to Hurley. But, news breaks today that she’s joined the Billabong roster and is already rolling with new stickers (see clip above).
As has been a big part of her game, the style side of things will certainly be in play with the new partnership. While she’s currently world number eight, Laura also digs on fashion and makes for a beautiful portrait subject.
“I really love what Billabong represents,” said Loz. “It’s a core surf brand with high performance products, but at the same time brings out the beauty of the beach lifestyle. My other passion besides surfing is the fashion world and it’s clear Billabong is all about taking high fashion to the beach. They are collaborating with fashion bloggers and coming out with amazing products and wetsuits. Beach fashion is changing and Billabong is leading the way. I’m excited!”
