How To Become An Internet Sensation With Sabre Norris

Step one: Star on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Step two: Shriek about donuts, buffets and Vegas.

Being internet famous is one thing, but being daytime television, and still going viral famous, well that’s how you make it in America. Sabre Norris, 12, has ticked those boxes. Back in December she joined Ellen, squealed about donuts, her dad’s weight problem, buffets in Sin City and put her fine board work on display.

Yes, little miss Norris’ saltwater and vert ramp skills exceed most, and her Gath helmet just makes it all the more cute. And, as difficult as it can be to get through her interviews (one thing about Americans is that they love Aussies), Sabre’s good for ratings, and for three million-plus views on Youtube. So Ellen sent her to Vegas, documented it, and brought her back to the four o’clock (EST) slot for a follow-up interview; where she donned her most dazzling studded leather jacket and joined the couch before Ice Cube in his least gangster appearance since Are We There Yet?. Can you feel the bubbles in her shrill, the excitement on her face–that blurred expression of confidence, fear, elation and sugar?
