You wanna talk about movements: Remember in 1991 when Volcom was the first company to melt surfing, skating and snowboarding into one big beautiful mess? By 1993 le Stone dropped Alive We Ride, a moving collage of Volcom’s soul that danced with all three board types and those who rode ’em best. It brought the three disciplines together and was a bible for any shred enthusiast of the era.

Now, 20 years on, Volcom set out to do the same with True To This, a feature-length film shot around the world and starring their wildly-good team. The coming weeks will see webisodes dropping that detail the ripples Alive We Ride sent into the world, and much more. For now though, dig on the trailer. And sure, it ain’t so surf-heavy yet, but that’s because filming is still going on for the movie so the footage will be super faa-resh. This sure does excite.
