A few weeks ago Stab announced that we were teaming up with Db – the Nordic travel gear company on three essential surf travel products: a board bag (The Djärv 3-4 Surfboard coffin – Stab Ltd), a tote (The Sømløs 80L Tote – Stab Ltd), and a board sock (The Lätt Surfboard sock – Stab Ltd). The range is now available to everyone over at the Db website. Stab Premium members can also cash in on a 20% discount by clicking this link here

Cleverly-designed, built to last and stealthy – the products are a reminder that, when hunting waves near and far, quiet is key. We don’t need social posting or pin drops on surf trips. With the exception of the Stab Premium gold dot, they are entirely black, minimalistic and easily ‘hookup’ with other compatible items for efficient travel.

Surf Bag 3-4 Boards Stab Ltd is a 6’6”, three-four board coffin that has padding where it counts, multiple useful internal packing compartments, and a compressible structure that can be rolled-up for easy storage. Its wheels make it a breeze to cart about, and the external ‘hook-up’ system means you can load all your other Db compatible gear on top. As a loss leader, this board bag quite literally costs more to make than it sells for.

Surf Tote 80L Stab Ltd is a 80L waterproof tote bag perfect for throwing wet wetsuits in, getting changed in sandy car parks, loading up groceries or as a poncho in a sudden thunderstorm. With a hook-up system clip, you can easily attach compatible gear to free your hands and lighten the load. Lightweight, strong and stealth – something you will use everyday. I have received numerous compliments from the checkout ladies at Aldi for my ‘fancy grocery bag’.

Surf Sock Stab Ltd comes in a range of sizes from 5’8” to 6’3” and keeps sand at the beach, and wax on your board. Made from 100% recycled fibers, The Sock is the antidote to a sandy house/bed/car and heartbreaking dings in transport.

To assure you we weren’t talking fluff, we also gave away board bags to 12 lucky Stab Premium members who sent us the best surf travel stories free of charge – you’ll hear their honest reviews of the Djärv in coming weeks. We would like to thank everyone who entered, we had a good chuckle hearing about the peaks and valleys of surf travel to all corners of the earth (even North Korea, in one instance).
