O’Neill’s ‘No Tie Fly’ Could Save You From Sets on the Head
And may just get you more waves in the process…
O’Neill’s had a Hyperproductive winter (pun intended).
Every brand’s plan for team activations and new product roll-outs was stalled in 2020. With a window to safely get their team to Hawaii, O’Neill made the most of it. Between launching their Hawaii Live campaign and shooting their Spring 21′ catalog, they’ve still found the time to roll out the latest development in their storied history of board-short innovation as part of their First Name In The Water series.
You ever get caught inside at the wrong time, your boardies untied just enough to be fearful of an embarrassing beach encounter, only to get pounded whilst trying to tie them instead of paddling out the back? Well, at first glance the ‘No Tie Fly’ seems to be the save-all for any such future encounters. Featuring a slim and secure hook and loop velcro design, their goal is simple: more security, less distractions. Judging by the waves/quality of surfing from the likes of Jordy Smith, Ian Crane and Brett Barley, we’d say they’ve found another winner.
