Last Year’s Electric Acid Surfboard Test Winning Board Starring Dane Reynolds And Ryan Burch

As we keep you patiently waiting for this year’s Electric Acid Surfboard Test, starring Stephanie Gilmore, to drop, here’s a thorough reminder of last year’s most remarkable performance. 

From his very first wave on the twin-tipped, fork-nosed Asym Ryan Burch built, Dane looked not only comfortable on the board, but genuinely interested in it, and over the next week, kept coming back to it when the waves got punchy, eventually amassing one of his most impressive performances in recent memory on the twin-fin Burch so lovingly coined the Pickle-Fork Double-Double.

We’ll leave this here as both a reminder of last year’s surprising performance level, and as an appetizer to this year’s offering, which Steph was quick to claim at the every start was going to be quite a bit “cruisier” than Dane’s full-on, lead-footed attack last year.
