Introducing Rob Machado’s New Signature Stick
Need some spark in your small wave game? Look no further.
Rob Machado makes every surfboard look good.
His combination of style and skill can transform the pluggiest stick into a certified blade, at least in the eyes of the viewer. That’s why, when Machado comes out with a new board that he’s worked on for years – from its shape to its construction to its accompanying fins – you know the thing will actually work.
Introducing the Seaside, Machado’s new performance fish.
According to Rob, this board was based off his famous Go Fish model but has a few specific refinements, including an obligatory four-fin setup (for which Machado has designed a custom set of skegs) and an altered outline.
The Seaside looks incredibly fast and loose, with the ability to also surf legitimate waves (see his Teahupo’o night at 2:56).
Coming into Aussie summer, it’s likely our readers will be looking for something to disrupt the flatness. The Seaside could be a terribly fun option.
