A Soft And Rudderless Eric Geiselman
Eric on his ‘high performance’ soft top – who knew front pads on foamies were a thing!
I’m starting to think softboards are better than the real thing.
Think about it…
They don’t break when you’re travelling; the rails never ding; you can surf in the flags; and even run people over without (much) consequence.
Plus, when you’re a average-to-shit surfer like me, there’s no better excuse than blowing a wave by blaming it on your soft-apparatus.
According to the above Softech short featuring Eric G., these unaroused and stringerless craft are also good enough to rip on. Jam in your ‘serious’ fins and go to town, or if you’re feeling a little ‘North Coast NSW’, opt for the rudderless option to drift and spin till your heart’s content!
I knew bodyboarders were onto something with their material choice.
