Wyatt McHale and the Rocky Point pop
Rocky Point’s the epicenter of aerial progression on the North Shore. “Wyatt isn’t a big fan of Rockies,” says lensman Steve-Mo who’s been documenting the Rip Curl Grom camp. “This was one evening when the swell was dropping from its previous 20ft + size, so it was finally manageable size for the kids. There was some good size waves still coming in, Wyatt caught this little nug and found a nice air section. He was still able to make some magic out there and cull his distaste.” Mr McHale’s a 14 year young cat who resides in a quaint spot in the hills above Foodland, overlooking the seven mile. According to our sources the kid’s been going mad since the camp began.
