“They say ‘stuck between a rock and a hard place,’ but for Pete Devries, it’s between a 5-star resort and mountain,” says photographer Marcus Paladino of the aesthetically-pleasing setup you see here. “Local Tofino beachbreaks offering up lots of opportunity while Pete was filming for Ben Gulliver’s latest surf film, The Seawolf. The film also stars guys like Noah Wegrich, Noah Cohen, Cam Richards, Chippa Wilson and more, but this session was just Pete, Noah and Cam – the latter two of whom spent around two weeks in Tofino with photog Mark McInnis. On the day you see pictured here, Marcus went to check it and found the gang boosting wave for wave down the beach. With an hour of light left, he figured he should probably be shooting.
