Pat Gudang And The Most Comforting Set Of Fins Seen At Lowers Yesterday

Yeah, there’s been an influx of sharks. You get it. And, there has been a solid run of south swell in Southern California. You’ve seen it. We just heard a story about someone watching a shark maul a seal north of Malibu. But, that’s beside the point of this post. Here’s Pat Gudang and the familiar world of the Lowers right, released fins and all. 

“With all of the recent media hype surrounding local shark sightings, breaches, and the attack nearby, I didn’t expect to see a huge crowd in the water at Lowers Wednesday afternoon,” says photographer Chris Hilton. “The select few that braved the presence of our fishy friends were rewarded with epic conditions and a solid pulse of SSW energy. Here’s Pat sending it after a shark breached that same morning, 50 yards out from the lineup.”
