Noa Deane taps the walls of a foam party in Mainland Mexico

And here we find Mr. Noa Deane peaking through a spin cycle, with thick froth offering much needed shade from the Mexican sun. “It was during that real big swell,” says Brandon ‘Laserwolf’ Campbell, our lensman. “This is the day Healey rode his Puerto bomb. This was a smaller one, there were some double overhead sets coming in. Noa’s cool in the water, he’s not aggressive at all. There was a big Hawaiian crew out there that day. While it was definitely a paddle battle between them, Noa was hanging on the inside, snagging the thick ones. I’ve never seen him surf in person. I was blown away at the air show he was putting on. Everyone else was out there trying to find barrels, he was out there finding ramps to boost.” Albeit, when the curtain delivers you know where Noa’s directing his line.
