Seventeen-year-old Central-Coaster Beau Foster is a selfless kid. As a year 12 Design and Technology major work, he is putting together a desk for his brother. The design of the desk is focused on film editing, with mods that will make it easier for his brother to cut together surf footage.

The day before Beau entered the assembly stage of the desk construction, he and photographer buddy Josh Houseman went looking for a few tunnels at North Entrance beachy after school. The wind had started to come up when he threw his 5’10” over this section. Poised between fluffy cloud and milky wave, Beau enjoyed a moment of escapism from the pressures of a HSC student.

Beau and his buddies have taken to jumping the fence at the local golf course and whacking balls around at night. Luckily for us though, on this afternoon he opted to ditch the golf balls and throw some heat instead. – Elliot Struck
